CAPS TITLE
A cozy, clean little cabin in the middle of the Sawtooth National Forest located 24 miles north of Fairfield, ID. It's on the way to Pine, Featherville and Anderson Reservoir (25 miles) or over Dollarhide Summit to Ketchum (47 miles). Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, horse trails, ATV, hot springs, cool evening breezes and fresh mountain air. There are two bedrooms with queen sized comfy beds, and a queen-sized plush down pull out couch. Bedding, bath towels and some toiletries are provided.
The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen, oven, range and refrigerator and an outdoor propane BBQ grill under a partially covered deck. Ramp for wheelchair access. This cabin is OFF GRID, powered by generator, which your host will show you how to turn on. (It's easy!) Paradise now has solar panels in use to power the lights and the water pump.
Accommodations for more than a party of 6 can be made with prior arrangements and a small fee.
Propane BBQ grill, small stove and refrigerator powered by propane. Spring/well water is good to drink. Couch is a down-filled hide-a-bed that will comfortably sleep two. The cabin has two bedrooms with queen beds, and upon request, we can provide cots for more bed options. Dishes, towels and linens are provided.
The space
Off grid cabin in the middle of the National Forest. A few hundred yards to the Big Smoky Creek with great fishing, swimming, floating. A few miles to Pries Hot Springs, Worswick Hot Springs and the trailhead to a nice 3 1/2 mile hike to Skillern Hot Springs.
Right now, we allow pets for an additional $50/night,per pet, with a signed liability agreement. We love our pets, too!
A hunter's Paradise! There is ample parking here, and a convenience store across the street for your grocery needs. To get here, follow the signs to Smoky Bar Store over Couch Summit, Dollarhide, or upriver from Featherville/ Anderson Ranch Dam.
